If the Home Cannot Remain in Pecan Park
In some cases, a home may not be eligible to stay in the community due to age, condition, or non-compliance with current community standards.
If this occurs, the resident may still sell the home, but the buyer must move it out of Pecan Park and follow all requirements in the Manufactured Home Transport & Installation Guidelines.
The resident must submit a 90-day Move-Out Notice and follow all Move-Out requirements.
The buyer must use a licensed, insured transport company, and all documents must be submitted for approval.
The resident remains responsible for the lot and any damages until the home is removed and the lot passes inspection.
The buyer cannot remove the home until all documents and approvals are complete.
All removal preparation rules apply, including storage requirements and A/C disconnection procedures.
All materials, debris, and exterior items must be removed from the lot before the final inspection, regardless of whether they were left by the buyer or transporter.
Please Note:
Any person who moves into a home without being approved by our office will be considered an unauthorized occupant and treated as a trespasser. Immediate action will be taken, including enforcement measures to regain compliance, and the person may face eviction.
Do not allow anyone to move in without approval. Violations of this policy will not be tolerated, and swift action will be taken to ensure compliance with community regulations.
Security Deposit Disclaimer:
Failure to follow the Move-Out or Home-Sale Guide, or allowing unauthorized occupancy, may result in deductions from the resident’s security deposit.
This ensures that we maintain a safe, compliant, and well-managed community for all residents.
